Creative director of Chloé Clare Wright Keller’s Pre-Fall collection is based on the wardrobe of British aristocratic girls attending art school in Paris. The collection features chunky silhouettes and structured, borrowed-from-the-boys pieces. However, the collection still maintains the feminine Parisian feel of classic Chloé. Popular trends featured are coordinates, pattern mixing and heavy striping. Classic 70’s looks were also expressed through platform t-strap Mary Janes, an extremely colorful (but wearable) pantsuit and a KILLER nude and white chunky bomber jacket. I love that despite all the elements and inspiration, the collection remained cohesive and true to Chloé’s aesthetic.
